Kupang police handling fatal stabbing of Timor Leste national

"The case involves a citizen of a neighboring country, so we are working extra to speed up its settlement. We expect to be able to submit the dossiers on the accused to the Kupang district prosecutor`s office next week," Insp Okto said.

Meanwhile, police were continuing to investigate the case for the possibility that more suspects were involved.

Alfredo Yossi D Santos, who was a student at the Catholic Widya Mandira University in Kupang, was stabbed to death by local youths on Saturday night (Sept 29) after he had just attended ceremonies marking his graduation.
