Michdan said that the "appeal process had not followed all due processes of law," adding that a lower court should have held a hearing to examine new testimony and evidence as part of deciding whether a case review should occur.That court should then have made a recommendation to the Supreme Court, he was quoted as saying by AFP.
"It is not true that we agree with the death penalty and have accepted the Supreme Court's rejection of our appeal," he said, referring to reports that the three men have declared they wish to be martyred.
"In fact we cannot let this unjustice happen."
He declined to comment on whether they may seek presidential pardons, though in the past the trio have said they would not.
