Many thanks. They probably already have. They are innocent and the attention is now on who is the real kidnapper? The more investigators who look for the evidence and leave no stone unturned in Portugal, the more chance of a result.

Of course, it's not really in the best of interests of the Portuguese police for them to take a test because it will then be found out that they really have nothing to go on.

The McCann's are an educated professional couple but they made the mistake of leaving the children in an unlocked holiday apartment. On hindsight that was a stupid thing to do, but I can imagine in the enjoyment of their holiday, they believed that the area was safe and thought nothing of it. Some one took advantage of the situation and that's where the real story begins. Over to the Portuguese police.
