Two men who sent lethal bottles of vodka through the mail and threatened to poison England’s water supply have each been sentenced to six years in prison.Wayne Cook and Steven Robinson, from Greater Manchester, posted a lethal concentration of caustic soda in miniature bottles to Blackburn with Darwen councillor John Wright and former Scottish Daily Express journalist Myra Philp.

One package was intercepted by mail staff but the other was delivered, along with a note threatening to kill English people “at random and with no discrimination” in order to convince the British Government to withdraw from Scotland. more
