Former heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson has been jailed for drug possession and driving under the influence.

The 41-year-old former world champion has been sentenced to 24 hours in jail and three years probation by a court in Mesa, Arizona.

Tyson previously pleaded guilty to charges relating to an incident last year in which police reported him driving erratically after leaving a nightclub.
