A New Campaign for Madeleine McCann by merrie

The McCann's are planning an ad campaign to keep missing Madeleine  face and story  in the public eye. The details are being ironed out and should be launched within a couple weeks.
A recent change in Portugal's secrecy laws will allow attorney's greater access to case files. There aren't any plans for the Portuguese authorities to summon Kate and Gerry to Portugal in the near future.
Richard Branson of the Branson Group has started a fund to help with their legal expenses.

On Sept. 15, the McCanns announced the launch of a new ad campaign to reinvigorate the search for Madeleine. Using over $150,000 from Madeleine's Fund — which has grown to over $2 million thanks to donations from the public — the new campaign will use billboards, newspaper ads and TV spots "to remind everyone that Madeleine is still missing," the family said in a statement.

"The rationale is to focus attention back onto the fact that's been lost in the last couple of months, that a little girl is missing and that her parents are desperate that she be found," says a spokesman for the McCann family about the campaign that's due to start in two weeks and will run in Spain, Portugal and "other European countries."
