A Spanish tourist who believes she saw Madeleine McCann dragged across a street in Morocco has been desperately searching for the four-year-old ever since.

Isabel Gonzalez, 60, is certain she saw the blonde toddler with a North African woman wearing a headscarf in the remote northern town of Zaio.

The details of Mrs Gonzalez's search came on the same day that another "sighting" in Morocco was ruled out.

A holiday snap taken by another tourist had captured an image of a little girl strapped to her mother's back. But the peasant farmer in the photo - and her daughter Bushra - have been traced.
