We hope this scumbag gets whats coming to him. We want him to share a cell with a big ugly bear that likes punks...But he will probably get probation and set free to kill someone next time Nicko hits a tree....That's just our opinion

Nick’s rep, Adam Handelsman, EVP of 5WPR, issued the following statement

Clearwater PD today released details of their investigation into the August 26 crash. In addition to being arrested for reckless driving involving serious bodily injury, cops also cited Hogan for use of a motor vehicle in the commission of a felony, a person under the age of 21 operating a vehicle with a breath-alcohol level of .02 or higher and having and Illegal window tint.

Police also concluded that although Hogan and a second car were racing right before the crash, the driver of the second car was not a direct cause of the accident. That driver has also been ticketed for reckless driving.

Hogan was going 60 mph in a 40 mph zone when he lost control and hit a tree.

At the risk of sounding judgmental, street racing is for chumps and posers. If you think you're fast, take it to the track!

Wrong answer.

The main problem here is drinking. It is far more important to get drunks off the road than racers, per se. Drunk racers are just drunks, just as drunk mommies are just drunks, drunk politicians are just drunks, and drunk NowPublic members are just drunks.

Likewise, racers that endanger others (for any reason) need to be dealt with, but that isn't the case for all, or even most, racers. The fact is, there's a huge difference between alert, careful people on a stretch of deserted, high-visibility road popping off 1/4 mile runs and some drunk sociopath who lets fly in a suburb. So let's try and paint with the appropriate brush, eh?

I think that it is crap first of all that you guys want to even try and blame the passenger. If Nick was not drinking and driving and also speeding this whole wreck never would of happened. As far a I am concerned Nick is a horrible person for what he did and I hope that they fry his ass in court but we all know that they won't because his daddy is Hulk Hogan. How dare the Nick or his family try and blame the passenger for his own injuries. You all should be ashamed for even thinking that. Honestly I hope that you are taken off the air and that Nick gets into a lot of trouble for this because he deserves to go to jail and rot. I hope that he feels guily about making his friend spend the rest of his life in a nursing home. If you drink and drive and than race you are stupid and if it was a regular person they would be going to jail for this but guess what Nick's mommy and daddy will get him out of trouble.

You should be ashamed for writing such nonsense.  You are clueless.  READ CAREFULLY BECAUSE I WILL ONLY SAY IT ONCE:  In the law, there is something called "CONTRIBUTORY NEGLIGENCE."  By making the negligent decision to not wear a seatbelt, Nick's buddy contributed to the damages that he suffered.....NOT ONLY THAT..it is illegal in Florida to ride in the front seat without a seat belt....you see, the victim broke the law as well.  Putting all of the fault on Nick is absurd...Yes he too was careless for driving  fast, but do you honestly think that his buddy was not enjoying the ride?  I mean, if he was scared then he would have maybe, I don't know, put on a seatbelt...so stop making this kid out to be some innocent victim...he messed up too, you moron.....yeah it's too bad that someone who fought for our country got hurt....but again, HE CHOSE NOT TO WEAR A SEATBELT.

And things much worse than this happen EVERYDAY..people just use Nick as a scapegoat because he is famous.  You are clearly jealous because you repeatedly say that "NIck's mommy and daddy will get him out of trouble."  Okay, Nick was fortunate enough to be born into a wealthy family....stop being such a hater and go do something with your life.

Get your head out of Nick Hogan's ass, Bucklove.  He is a sociopath who has not shown the tiniest quantum of remorse for the destruction he caused and his family has been trashing the Grazianos ever since.  Anyone who isn't sickened by the Hogans' behavior and statements since the crash is just as soulless as they are.

Second of all, your little spoiled brat hero, Nicky-boy, LIED about JG not wearing a seatbelt.  How do I know this?  The Hogans are proven sociopaths and sociopaths LIE to reduce their own culpability and make themselves look better.

Well everyone here makes a valid point and everyone comes down to one common answer. The choices people make in life is what makes their fate. Nick drove drunk and he was speeding, and then he hit a tree and now his best friend is in a nursing home for life. But on the other End people claim that his friend chose not to wear a seatbelt. So who is to blame? Nick for driving his car and getting into a crash because he was intoxicated, or his friend who chose to stay in the car and not wear a seatbelt because he thought nothing bad would happen.

I mean seriously no one in this world knowing the consequences would take the responsibilty of this youngs man fate who got hurt in the crash even though they might feel like they should but I honestly think they both played a hand in what happend that night

it is what is
