Philadelphia Police Officer Dies by albert

A 25-year veteran of the Philadelphia Police Department, Officer Charles Cassidy died this morning from a gunshot wound to the head during a robbery.

The Mayor is holding an interdenominational prayer service in the Mayor's Reception Room at 10a tomorrow. There will be a "unity and peace" rally against violence at Love Park at Noon.
