Two suspects in the 2006 Madrid airport bombing have been arrested; they are alleged members of the Euskadi Ta Askatasuna (ETA; "Basque Homeland and Freedom")

The Spanish government says two men arrested in the Basque Country are suspected of carrying out the deadly 2006 Madrid airport bombing.

The blast in a car park killed two Ecuadoreans and wrecked peace talks with the Basque separatist group Eta[sic].

Martin Sarasola and Igor Portu were arrested on Sunday.

jordan, interesting read on an ongoing issue on Basque terrorists for close to 50 years.  It seems these Basque separatists enjoy creating Chaos to get into the media for a tiny parcel of land a few centuries ago, yet no one remembers where it is, or can even find it on a map.
