Three held as heroin haul seized

Three men have been arrested on both sides of the Irish border following an international anti-drugs operation.

Heroin estimated by police to have a street value of more than three million euro was seized near the village of Collon in County Louth.

A 43-year-old man was arrested in Banbridge while another two men were arrested in County Louth.

The drug seizure was the result of an intelligence operation involving the PSNI, Gardai and Dutch police.
