At approximately 12:30 AM on Sunday morning, NYC police suddenly cordoned off an entire block of McDonald Avenue under the Avenue I F Train stop in Brooklyn. No sirens or commotion was heard by any bystanders at the time, but the police proceeded to tape off the entire block from Avenue J to Avenue I on Mcdonald Avenue. Police at the Avenue I intersection in front of the 24 hour market GSA King Tomato were having trouble keeping cars from driving through the cordoned area, and were unwilling to discuss the purpose of their investigation. It was unclear whether or not this investigation was related to the earlier shooting near Prospect Park on Saturday evening.

At NowPublic, this is high praise from NowPublic editors! Your story is now on the home page for awhile, and everywhere else the “good stuff” box shows up. Many thanks for your great work.
I have marked as good stuff because it is a good example of on the ground reporting (plus the pics!)
See if you can find out what was going on...be interesting to complete the report with those facts.
