UPDATE:

I have been following the five-year old case of Dianne Brimble, who was drugged, raped and murdered by as many as seven men. (See my previous posts below detailing the entire case.)

Finally, after five long years, her former husband and children can celebrate the beginning of justice. "We as a family can say now that the trust has finally been revealed...what will happn to it is in the hands of others." He also stated "The family will sleep a lot easier...knowing that we have now got the information out and somebody is about to do something with it."

TYPICAL BACK-PEDDLING OF
THE TOURISM INDUSTRY

P&0 Cruises, operator of the cruise ship Brimble was on, "Pacific Sky" thanked the coroner and the company's chief executive, Ann Sherry quickly announced that "new safeguards have been introduced to try to ensure what happened to Mrs. Brimble cannot happen again."

TOO LITTLE TOO LATE!

 BACKGROUND:

In September 2002, Australian mother, Dianne Brimble took a vacation on the P & O cruise ship.  She never came home.  She was raped by as many as 8 men, and killed on board.  The facts of the case are horrifying.  Currently, there is an inquest going on in this case and witnesses are pointing fingers at the perpetrators.  Sounds like a slam dunk.

When we are on vacation, we are used to saying, "I'm on vacation!  I'm relaxing and not worrying about a thing!"  Well, in today's world you can't do that anymore.  Anytime you leave your country for vacation there are so many risks and dangers.  The cruise lines have been covering up deaths, rapes, robberies, assaults, etc., for years.

I won't allow this case to be pushed aside.  People need to know what kind of dangers are out there.  And believe it or not, that happy vacation you take and the "nice locals" aren't always model citizens.  They prey on tourists.  Bottom line...be careful while vacationing.  Especially cruise ships.

"A passenger on the cruise ship on which Dianne Brimble died has broken down while giving evidence at the inquest into her death.

Greg Williams met Mrs. Brimble on the first night of the P&O cruise in September 2002. He became emotional when he told the inquest he overheard a man yelling in the cabin next door early the following morning. He said the man referred to a woman as a "slut" and said she had defecated on him.

Mr. Williams said he believed the man was Mark Wilhelm, one of the eight men of interest. He said he ignored the remarks, because he was intimidated by the men."
