Michael Simon looks at photos of documents in Lorain, Ohio, Tuesday Nov. 16, 1999. Simon, one of the youngest people to have survived the Theresienstadt concentration camp in what is now the Czech Republic during the Holocaust, won a court order to have the documents returned from Oberlin College Professor Heidi Thomann Tewarson. The documents are diaries, written by his parents, that chronicle his birth and early years in a Nazi concentration camp.
