One in three Europeans has never been online! Wow. This explains why all the misspelled, profane Youtube comments are written in American English. It's not the European luddites, who are off doing stuff in real life.

The survey also finds that young European netizens are demanding consumers who don't want to pay for anything that they download. So the survey is calling them cheap and spoiled, basically.

More than one in three of the digital refuseniks said they did not see the need for a connection while nearly one quarter said they could not afford it.

I admit that sometimes I wish I had no idea what the Internet was...  but then I see a lolcat and it's all good.

Hah...I wish 1/3 of Americans had never been online.  Maybe we wouldnt have such an obesity epidemic if this was the case.  (I say this as I'm sitting next to a bowl of cereal and a 20 oz coke)

Yeah, but apparently the Europeans who are online are spending more time surfing than Americans.

Stand up, America! Don't let them out-lolcat us!

Judging by my relatives back in the Old Country, this story sounds accurate. I don't think I'll be chatting with Aunt Juanita on skype any time soon.
