Early this morning, we experienced 123456789: the 56th second of the 34th minute of 12am, on the eighth day of the seventh month of 2009. Or,12:34:56/7/8/9. We'll get it again at half past noon.
This is the only day in our lifetimes in which this will occur.... at least unitl August, when those using the North American date-writing standard, which places month before date, will also read 123456789.
If you're desperate for that same feeling, there's always 04:05:06 07/08/09 later this afternoon.
