CBC Television has created a new funding program to help foster the talent of up-and- coming film makers in New Brunswick * the CBC 3-2-1 Award for New Brunswick*s independent production community. The CBC 3-2-1 Award will consist of a $12,500 cash component plus an equal amount in goods and services provided by CBC Television for a total value of $25,000. The Program will aid in the production of a New Brunswick short or series of shorts, which will be broadcast on CBC Television.

Gia Milani (President / Director / Writer / Producer) has distinguished herself as an award-winning filmmaker with numerous awards for her work and has proven her diversity in directing, writing and producing. Gia is a member of the Canadian Film and Television Production Association (CFTPA), a full member of the New Brunswick Filmmaker's Co-operative and is the President of Shore Road Pictures Inc. Gia was also a 2008 ArtsNB Nominee for Emerging Artist of the Year and has trained at the Canadian Screen Training Centre and UCLA.
Tony Whalen (Vice-President / Producer) brings to Shore Road a solid financial background with over 15 years of experience in big budget project management. Tony is a member of the Canadian Film and Television Production Association (CFTPA), an Associate member of the New Brunswick Filmmaker’s Co-operative and is Vice-President of Shore Road Pictures Inc. Tony has also trained at the Canadian Screen Training Centre and UCLA.
