2011 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Schedule
One of the most popular annual attractions in New York City, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade has been a tradition since 1924.
Attracting more than 3.5 million people to the streets of Manhattan every year, and watched by an audience of nearly 50 million TV viewers, The Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade combines a huge collection of performers, participants, and of course, the famous big balloons that are the signature of the event. This year is the parade’s 85th anniversary and will host more than 100,000 participants.
The parade will begin at 9 a.m. in all time zones at the traditional kick-off corner of 77th Avenue and Central Park West. Following is the list of entries that will appear*.
