The Primtetime Emmy Awards will be held on September 23rd, 2012.

The 64th Primetime Emmy Awards will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel on Sunday, September 23rd, 2012 starting at 7 p.m. EST. 

The Primetime Emmy® Awards celebrate excellence in national primetime programming, awarding top honors at the annual creative arts and primetime awards ceremonies. Special honors, like the Governors Award and the Bob Hope Humanitarian Award, are bestowed during either the Primetime Emmys or the Creative Arts Emmys.
