The American Red Cross will be having its 2nd Annual Memorial Blood Drive starting on Monday September 6, 2012 and last until Friday September 14, 2012.

The Memorial Blood Drive will be held in memory of firefighter Ricky Wayne Newman who was born 12/13/1960 and died on 09/03/2006 just 8 days before people in cities throughout our country gathered for  9/11 ceremonies.

The donation times and days for the 2nd Annual  Memorial Blood Drive will be Monday September 10 & Tuesday September 11 between 12:00pm-6:00pm  , Thursday September 13 between 9:00am-3:00pm, and Friday September 14 between 8:00-2:00pm.

The Memorial Blood Drive will be held in the Red Cross Donor Room at 3446 Demetropolis Road 36693 at highway 90.

All blood donors who give blood will be entered into a raffle for $3000.00 towards rent, gas, and groceries.

Blood donors who give blood will also receive a free movie pass, and lunch will be served daily in honor of our fallen heroes and public servants.

Lunch meals in honor of the 2nd Annual Memorial Blood Drive will also be served on Monday September 10, 2012 at Firehouse Subs, Tuesday September 11, 2012 at The Shed Restaurant, Thursday September 13, 2012 at Ladd and Dads, and Friday September 14, 2012 at Moe’s.
