31 Days 31 Horror Movies! Day Seventeen: Body Double (1984)

If you liked Brian De Palma's Dressed to Kill and Blow Out then you'll like this as well. It's made in the same style. It even has the usual Alfred Hitchcock homages. The story is about a young Bill Maher look-a-like named Jake (Craig Wasson). He's a peeping tom who witnesses a beautiful woman being murdered. And that's all you should know beforehand. It's a good thriller and the less said the better. Also, be on the look out for a young Rob Paulsen. He's a voice-actor famous for playing Ralph on the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon and Yakko Warner on Animaniacs. He plays the concerned man who's upset that they forgot something important during the production of a porn movie.
