Pakistan eleven has convincingly won the second one day international against South Africa after chasing a target of 192 runs for the loss of four wickets. The series has been leveled 1-1 after this match.

The Pakistani batsmen played responsibly while chasing a target of 192 runs as their past records were not good regarding their chase against a target.

Misbahul Haq was the leading run-scorer for the green shirts as he scored 57 runs followed by Shoaib Malik 35, Younus Khan 32 and Mohammad Hafeez 31.

The South African bowlers took early wickets of Nasir Jamshed and Kamran Akmal but the partnerships shared by Misbah with Younus and Shoaib Malik snatched the match from their hand.

Except Misbahul Haq and Shahid Afridi, none of the Pakistani batsmen was able to enter into 30’s.

After the failure, the Pakistani team management held a brainstorming session for the senior players, where all of them were asked to give suggestions for the betterment of the team.
