If you don’t recognize him, I understand. To the familiar, C H E E T A is the Hollywood star from Tarzan, The Ape Man (1932). He is also the oldest living chimpanzee at the tender age of 75. His last film was Dr. Dolittle in 1967. Now, what I find most interesting about his story is that his adopter started a sanctuary to provide residence, care and rehab for homeless, unwanted ex-show-business primates! Awesome! Cheeta is retired now and spends most of his days painting, which makes me think he is onto something because he looks good for his age. I’ve decided to follow in his footsteps and start painting also. I should also say, he sells his paintings and donates the money to charity, so go get yourself a Cheeta original (http://cheetathechimp.org/).
