As a kid I perceived that those who could write books and letters were wise and erudite (er~yoo~dahyt). I look back at when the world was relient on paper and ink, and think to myself, where has it gone. The art of writing a letter has crumbled since I was a child, falling towards the information highway, with such a lack of heart. Constantly electronic mails are mis-interpreted, many times leaving the reader lacking the true feelings of what was to be construed, or the sender worrying about how the recipient will take the words.
My 2009 New Years Resolution will be to write a letter a month to my mother, put it in an envelope, put a stamp on the corner, and place it in the mail box to be delivered!
