The 912 Project: Glenn Beck Preaches 9 Principles and 12 Values

A new movement is swelling in the United States as a reaction to the economic crisis and it is headed by Glenn Beck. Called the 912 Project, Glenn Beck's policy emphasizes the importance of 9 principles and 12 values that he says have been lost in the USA today.
Glenn Beck claims that 12 core values are essential to a strong country and that these values have been lost in a cloud of greed and corruption. According to Beck Americans have lost their way and that the 12 values must be restored before things can get better.
The 12 values Glenn Beck is telling Americans they must embrace are:
- Honesty
- Reverence
- Hope
- Thrift
- Humility
- Charity
- Sincerity
- Moderation
- Hard Work
- Courage
- Personal Responsibility
- Gratitude
Glenn Beck is also telling Americans in all walks of life that there are 9 principles that must be lived by:
The Nine Principles
1. America is good.
2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life.
3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.
4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.
5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.
6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.
7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.
8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.
9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.

Not everybody is a fan of Glenn Beck and the 912 Project. Several critical articles have surfaced since the Fox News show introducing the912project.com first aired.
The most consistent complaint about Beck's ideology is the way it ignores how a Republican government was in power when the "transgressions" that caused the financial collapse took place.
The site, which is currently offline as we write this post, defines essential American qualities such as believing in god, being opposed to income tax, being pro marriage (as long as your straight) and many other gems.
It’s more of the same that we’ve seen from the hard right recently, this whole socialism is bad, our money is being stolen for us, Barack
is a Communist etc etc. While some of those points might be true, what they continue to overlook is that Bush created the mess the country is in today, and Bush was the one that run up the foreign debt and started the bailouts. But no, it’s only bad now a new, black guy takes over the mess.
In the show launching the The 912 Project, Beck interviewed Chuck Norris, who earlier this week said that thousands of militia were preparing for a military takeover of the United States. If that doesn’t say batshit crazy, I’m not sure what else can.

Is our President and Politicians Hypocritical?
I am not a Rocket Scientist but,
It hasn't helped, that President Obama has singled out corporate jets as a symbol of greed and largesse in speeches.
The Man along with Congress/Politicians have managed to single handily almost wipe out one of our, (USA) strongest industry. Yes, the auto execs made a mistake by flying in on Corporate jets to washington asking for money. Was it any better that the politicians opted to "Grandstand" regarding business jet use?
Congress/President Obama should travel to Wichita and see the impact. President Obama promised to create jobs didn't he? The unemployment rate in Wichita is ++++++ growing daily.
Perhaps the Politicians, the media and the President should face the large number of people who are now unemployed. Business jet travel is not only a luxury, it is a necessity for many businesses. Once again our stupidity has opened the door for foreign competition to come in and wipe out an industry we once dominated.
Someone should remind Obama how he campiagned? I did not see him going from state to state on a hybrid bus?
Since Congress suggested/expected that the auto execs travel in hybrids why are politicians allowed to fly. Shouldn't they be traveling home via hybrids?

Thank you Mr. Beck. I watched your 912 project show yesterday with my family. I am married with 3 children, 2 are old enough to know the difference between right and wrong and the right and the lefts principles. Your program and the guests you chose made it real for them. These
lessons more than likely they will not get in school. My oldest is 12 and the liberal bombbardment is already starting. AMERICA teach the children 9 principles 12 values more now than ever.

Glenn, simply put, I want the country I fought for back. The politicians in Washington are not listening and that includes all parties. What I have seen is a strong penchant among politicians to practice loyalty self, loyalty to party, and loyalty to personal agendas. What ever happened to loyalty to the Country among this bunch?

As far as getting our country's financial situation back in order, we need to implement a fair tax. That would change our situation in a very short time. I believe every American should read "The Fair tax book", by Neil Bortz. And not go to the internet for the info, because most sites have it all messed up to confuse people.

There are many problems in A merica today, one of them is that people get mad for a few minutes when the government does something stupid, but no one does anything about it. Me included, maybe because we do not know what to do.
My idea is this. Fire all politicians. Just tell them " you have let us down for the last time, your FIRED". We then put in new politicians with the understanding that what happened to your predecessor will happen to you as well if you decided to line your pockets or look out for special interests over the good of the people or do anything else that enrages the persons who put you in office.
We here of politicians doing things that are illegal or immoral all the time and we are enraged, but nothing ever seems to happen to them. They get into office and then make themselves rich at our expense. I am tired of it, I have had enough.
Also, when I get back to work next week, I am going to tell my boss that I voted myself a raise and see how that goes.

I am so glad that someone finally reminded us what we are supposed to stand for. I believe in everyone of your principles and try to live by them. I am a senior that trys to help her neighbors especially the ones out of work with no food I always find a way to give them enough food for a week or help them with anything else they may need to get thru these hard times. I just wish others would lend a hand to there neighbors with good deeds and kindness in there hearts. God Bless you Mr. Beck.

Yes, the Democrats have had a majority for 2 years, after the voters were so fed up with Republicans spending us into oblivion and destroying the country that they kicked them out of the House and Senate, and ultimately the Presidency. Democrats have now had a majority for 2 of the last 16 years. You do the math. And while you're at it, tell me the last time a Republican President left office with a balanced budget. Better get out that ancient history book. I'll take a few bad Democrat decisions here and there over the guarantee that Republicans will kowtow to Big Oil, Big War, and Big Religion above all else.
