Aaron Carter is all confidence for his appearance on Dancing With the Stars that premiers tonight. Although his competition include big names like Kelly Osbourne and Macy Gray, he said his greatest competition is none other can Aaron Carter himself.
"Honestly, the biggest competition I feel is myself, ' he told MTV News while rehearsing with partner Karina Smirnoff. "It's all about how much we rehearse and how much we take advantage of [those rehearsals]. I'm all about how much I push myself."
Aaron Carter's older brother Nick isn't as sure of Aaron's skills as he is. In fact, Nick Carter said he was going to vote for the football star Michael Irving:
"I told my brother about [Michael Irving] and my brother's like, 'I love Michael. I'm gonna vote for him.' "
Aaron Carter thinks its all about hard work, and reportedly said that all the contestants weren't professional dancers, and so were on equal footing. However, he does think his previous dancing experience sets him apart.
"I think as a dancer I have a little bit of a competitive edge over some people, absolutely. But who knows?
Aaron Carter finds ballroom dancing the hardest to get right:
It's (ballroom dancing) completely out of whack, if that makes any sense," he said.
