ABC Oprah-Obama Christmas Special: Christmas At The White House
ABC network has announced that there will be a primetime Oprah holiday special with President Barrack Obama. The holiday special, "Christmas at the White House" will air mid-December. This marks the first time that Oprah will have interviewed Obama since he became President, and will be one of few primetime specials the Oprah Winfrey show has ever had.
The special marks the first time Winfrey has interviewed Obama since he took office. "Christmas at the White House" will air Sunday, Dec. 13, at 10 p.m.
Winfrey, who has never endorsed a presidential candidate before, was a strong supporter of Obama during his presidential campaign, stumping for him in key states.
"Christmas at the White House" will feature an Oprah interview with the President, and a behind the scenes glimpse into life at the White House as Christmas preparations are underway. An interview with the first couple to tour the White House will also be included.
