Abe Reles "Kid Twist" by Ace Preston by ACE PRESTON

Although not buried at Mount Hebron but at Old Mount Carmel Cemetery, Abe Reles, was believed to have been the killer hired to 'whack the snick', Louis "Cohen" Kerzner, on orders from Louis "Lepke" Bulchalter although it was believed that the hit could have also have been performed by Mendy Weiss or Charles "The Bug" Workman.

Although he became a rat in the end and flew out the window of the Half Moon Hotel in Coney Island prior to testifying against Lepke Bulchalter, Abe Reles was one of the greatest New Yorkers, who even took on the nickname "Kid Twist", named after the original turn of the century american mobster and leader of the Eastman Gang, Max "Kid Twist" Zweifach, who ironically was also killed in Coney Island.
