Absinthe legal in USA
With all the democracy that we export, it was also time that we give something in return. ” So perhaps would have commented on the news Ernest Hemingway, sitting on the veranda of the house of Key West, while drinking a liquor green and bitter, which recalls the licorice.
The absinthe is not down. As a survival instinct that brings us back to the right ideals, Life, Liberty and Love, back to be felt in time of need. In time of need. And this could be the title chosen for the story.
And it’s really a shame that Hemingway can not try our wormwood.
The traditional strong as a sunset, which would have preferred that at coffee, pungent, ironic, which would have recommended, chocolate and spicy aroma, a kiss that consumes between sheets of silk, which was deemed suitable for ladies, but Then, he would have drunk the same.
But America, you know, is full of great writers and even if you are not Hemingway, not that you can enjoy our elixir and thank them for what they are after drunk.

giox, I think your story has potential but needs some improvement. I've got a few suggestions, and if you give them a try, I'd be happy to remove this flag. I wasn't sure what was newsworthy in this story. News should always be about posting current stuff - new things you've discovered. Please review What Makes News News. We tried 4 different grades of Absinthe. Some was from Europe, some was from America, some was illegal in both places. After awhile, it was hard to make any judgement call on any of it.

This is a bottle of Absinth bought in Prague, Czech Republic. It's not legal in my home contry due to the high alcohol percentage (70%)

This picture was taken at our 2007 Samhain gathering. The Absinthe (King of Gold), was orded online and was a fantastic addition to our festive moods. We served it both traditionally with sugar cubes as well as shots for the slightly less brave. I've yet to meet the green fairy, but I haven't given up trying....

I couldn't follow the story. We export democracy, so it's time we give? Not only did that not make sense, but you mixed up tense, as well. Totally incoherent. Written by someone who couldn't hold his liquor. Hemingway would not approve.

Originally, absinthe gained its popularity from its use in North Africa during the French campaigns of the 1840s as a disease preventative and water purifier. The French soldiers brought their taste for the herbal beverage back to the cafés of Paris. Here it became a fashionable drink of the bourgeoisie, so much so that the time between 5.00 pm and 7.00 pm became known as "l'heure verte" (the Green Hour), and absinthe soon became the most popular aperitif in France. From the mid 19th century onwards absinthe became associated with bohemian Paris and featured frequently in the paintings of such artists as Manet, Van Gogh and Picasso. When they were not painting it, they were drinking it in large quantities, joined by contemporary poets such as Baudelaire, Rimbaud and Verlaine - who practically made a career out of it!
