Actor Verne Troyer sues TMZ.com over sex tape

Troyer, who played the diminutive character Mini-Me in the "Austin Powers" movies, is shown in the tape with former girlfriend Renae Shrider.

Also named in the lawsuit, which was filed in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles on Thursday, was producer Kevin Blatt, said to be a promoter of the 2004 sex tape featuring celebrity heiress Paris Hilton, and movie distribution company SugarDVD.

"The videotape was never intended by either plaintiff or his girlfriend to be shown to the public, and was always intended exclusively for plaintiff's own personal, private use," states the lawsuit, a copy of which was obtained by Reuters.

The tape was posted on TMZ on Wednesday, with a headline that included the words "avert your eyes."

Troyer, 39, is 2 feet, 8 inches tall.

He claims the tape was stolen, and accuses TMZ Productions Inc, which operates TMZ.com, of violating his privacy. His lawyers are seeking an injunction to have the tape removed from the Internet and not otherwise distributed.

TMZ officials were not immediately available to comment.

Given the fact that we were all treated to the sight of him pissing into houseplant on that VH1 reality show a few years ago, we guess this had to happen eventually: Famous tiny person Verne Troyer, best known to audience until this point as Mini-Me from the Austin Powers movies, has gone and made himself his very own sex tape. SugarDVD has reportedly offered $100,000 for the tape—but unless they get Troyer's consent, none of us will get to see just how else Verne likes to get freaky.

TMZ has a clip lasting a few short seconds from the upcoming Verne Troyer aka Mini-Me sex tape which promises to be more disturbing than Chyna’s. In the preview, Verne can be seen unclothed and tonguing his former girlfriend in their apartment. SugarDVD is reportedly offering $100,000 for distribution rights.

This is creepy. If I was a woman, I’d be freaked out by Mini-me crawling all over my body trying to hump my face. I imagine it’s like being attacked by a horny gremlin.

We haven’t seen the tape (nor will we, we’re still pretty traumatized by that video of a woman felating a horse that was going around in college), but it involves sex, Verne Troyer, and a standard-sized woman. We’re just a little confused about the sex positions implicit in such a match but will leave that to your imagination. And because we all know as much as we ever need to know about Verne via The Surreal Life, we want to know more about Ranae Shrider (and play into her fame-seeking hands).
