Alaina Reed Amini Dies- Olivia On Sesame Street & 227 Star Dies

Actress Alaina Reed Amini, known for her roles as in Olivia on Sesame Street and the landlady on 227 has died. Alaina Reed Amini also known as Alaina Reed Hall was 63.

Alaina Reed fought a two battle with breast cancer and died at a hospital in Santa Monica, her publicist Billy Lawrence said on Monday.

Reed-Amini played first joined Sesame Street as Olivia in 1976 and played the character of Olivia (Gordon's sister) until 19888. She played the Landlady role on 227 between 1985 and 1990.

Alaina Reed Amini is survived by her husband, Tamim Amini and two children from a previous marriage.

Sadly to hear we lost a great woman due to breast cancer. Your souls in Heaven now you were such a loving woman with such good deeds and intentions. Sesame street is a legend to children and parents till this day and you will always be remembered as Olivia :) God Bless your family and friends whom loved you so much.
