A DNA Test Has Proved That Alexsandra Wright Did Have a Child With Mathew Knowles. The Paternity Test Confirms That Beyonce Now Has a Baby Half-Brother, Nixon

A DNA test has confirmed that Alexsandra Wright had a child with Mathew Knowles, the father of pop star Beyonce. The Alexsandra Wright-Mathew Knowles revelation means that Wright's child is Beyonce's half-brother.

Wright filed documents in court stating that Knowles was the father of her son Nixon, who was born in February. Knowles was ordered to pay $8,200 a month in child support. Wright claims that Nixon was conceived during her year-and-a-half relationship with Mathew Knowles. The music exec agreed to have a DNA test to determine paternity.

Wright hired Neal Hersh, the attorney for NBA star Lamar Odom, to work on her case. Hersh worked with Odom of prenuptial agree with wife Khloe Kardashian.

The paternity test was taken earlier this month and proved that indeed Mathew Knowles is the father of Alexsandra Wright's child.

Mathew Knowles and Alexsandra Wright are reportedly working out child support payments for Nixon.

Mathew Knowles has been married to Tina Knowles for 29 years.

What About Wife Tina Knowles?

Tina Knowles filed for divorce from Mathew Knowles on November 11, 2009. Presumably, the Mathew Knowles-Alexsandra Wright affair played a role in her decision to file for divorce. The couple has been married since 1980.

Both Mathew and Tina Knowles were instrumental in developing the music careers of daughters Beyonce and Solange Knowles.
