Iron Man 2 is #1 again this weekend, but the movie stealing the spotlight is Alice in Wonderland. So far, the film has grossed $980.5 million worldwide. That's $19.5 million away from $1 billion. It will be the 6th movie to reach that milestone. The others include: Titanic, Return of the King, Dead Man's Chest, The Dark Knight, and Avatar.

Domestically, the film has grossed $331.5 million. Along with Avatar, its success has motivated studios to release more movies in the 3D format. Although, Clash of the Titans is a reminder that not all 3D films are a success.

Alice in Wonderland is directed by Tim Burton and features Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter. The DVD and Blu-Ray release are slated for June 1.

I can't believe this movie is still doing that well - I liked it, but that is still pretty amazing to me! Meanwhile, I couldn't even get in to see Iron Man 2 this weekend... :(
