Allison Ross: San Diego KFMB TV Former Anchor Arrested for DUI

Allison Ross, former San Diego KFMB TV anchor was arrested on Sunday on suspicion of drunken driving. Allison Ross was taken into Las Colinas Detention Facility at around 5:30 am on Jan 10, and was being held on $2,500 bail. A San Diego police officer spotted her driving on the wrong side of the road. Ross was arrested, charged with misdemeanor DUI.

Allison Ross, 55, was an anchor on KFMB TV Channel 8 from 1978 to 1989. She was on KOGO AM radio as news anchor in the morning from 1998 to 2001 before she was laid off.

In the 90s, she did traffic reports for a couple of local stations and also appeared on a short-lived show on KNSD channel 7/39 in which she appeared with former mayor and radio talk show host Roger Hedgecock.

I think Allison is going through a very hard time. We should not judge but remember she is like many San Diegians going through bad times!
