American Finnish Celebration in Minnesota

I heard about Finnfest about a year ago, from my friend at Newsvine. But this year it has got much publicity, because president Tarja Halonen visits the Finnfest.

Around 10,000 Americans of Finnish descent are attending the 25th. Finnfest event in the state of Minnesota.

President Tarja Halonen is also attending the festivities in the state capital Duluth. She has been inaugurated as an honorary doctor of law at Minnesota-Duluth University.

If you like Tarja very much, you can keep her.
