he made quite an impression on the music industry over her short-lived career, and it seems the late Amy Winehouse has achieved a posthumous sales milestone.

The “You Know I’m No Good” songstress’ 2007 Grammy-winning album Back to Black is the highest-selling album in the UK for the 21st century.

Winehouse’s shocking death last month led to a massive surge in sales, with Back to Black rocketing to the #1 spot on the UK album chart.

And coming up this weekend, Tony Bennett will offer a tribute to Ms. Winehouse at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards.

Bennett had a unique opportunity to spend time with the “Rehab” songstress when they recorded “Body and Soul” at Abbey Road Studios in London this past March.

Tony told press, "It was a thrill to record with Amy Winehouse, and when you listen to the recording of 'Body and Soul,' it is a testament to her artistic genius and her brilliance as one of the most honest musicians I have ever known."

Mitch Winehouse added, "Our family is honored that the VMAs are giving Amy this wonderful tribute. We know that Amy's performance of 'Rehab' at the MTV Movie Awards played an important part in Amy's worldwide success."

Exactly one month since her death, the family of Amy Winehouse has spoken out, revealing that there were no drugs found in her system at the time of her passing.

"Toxicology results returned to the Winehouse family by authorities have confirmed that there were no illegal substances in Amy's system at the time of her death. Results indicate that alcohol was present but it cannot be determined as yet if it played a role in her death," the Winehouse family said in a statement released Tuesday (August 23).

The statement continued, "The family would like to thank the police and coroner for their continuing thorough investigations and for keeping them informed throughout the process. They await the outcome of the inquest in October."

The 27-year-old, who had struggled with both drug and alcohol abuse throughout her time in the spotlight, was found dead in her London home on July 23.
