LONDON — Amy Winehouse says she will perform next month at a concert honoring Nelson Mandela.The concert will be held June 27 in London's Hyde Park to celebrate the former South African president's birthday. Mandela turns 90 on July 18.
The lineup for the concert _ which will benefit Mandela's AIDS charity _ also includes Queen, Simple Minds, Leona Lewis and the Soweto Gospel Choir.
Former President Clinton and talk-show host Oprah Winfrey are among those expected to attend.
Winehouse is scheduled to perform at a string of music festivals this summer as she tries to refocus attention on her music rather than on her tempestuous personal life.

Amy Winehouse gave an amazing concert at Heineken Music Hall Amsterdam last year. Her performance of Valerie was super!! One of the best concerts I have ever been to in my life!

From the infamous Cipriani's concert at which Annie Lennox played to benefit UNICEF. During the show, she got pissed, said, "Thank you for listening," and then flipped off the audience. "Go see KC and the Sunshine Band if you want to act that way.” A stunned Sarah Ferguson dashed to the stage to get the show...and the crowd...back on its feet.
