Now that the hills are alive with the sound of bankruptcy, everyone's favourite bombastic musical theatre maestro, Andrew Lloyd Webber, is doling out free tickets to his 'feel-good shows' for laid off British bankers.
Musical theatre is supposed to make them feel better about the worst global financial crisis in more than 100 years?
Andrew Lloyd Webber is offering laid-off British bankers free tickets to The Sound of Music and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, reports Variety. "Webber said he hopes the two 'feel-good shows' will help the bankers buck up."

Jarrett Martineau, I like this story. It's good stuff.
Hats-off to Webber. It's a brilliant idea - cashing-in on misery - but it feels a bit like Nero fiddling while Rome burned.
