Finally ready to legally declare their love for one another, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are officially engaged to be married!

Following rumors of a planned walk down the aisle sparked by their jeweler, the "Mr and Mrs Smith" co-star couple's manager confirmed the news Friday afternoon (April 13).

Of the left hand bling Jolie sported during her Wednesday outing at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art's Chinese Galleries private viewing, a rep told The Hollywood Reporter in a statement, “I can confirm that, yes, Robert Procop did indeed design an engagement ring for Angelina Jolie, designed in collaboration with Brad Pitt."

Meanwhile, Pitt made mention of walking down the aisle earlier this year, divulging that his children have long pressured the pair to take the plunge.

"It means something to [the kids]. We will someday, we will. It’s a great idea. ‘Get mommy a ring.’ ‘OK, I will, I will,’” he told CBS News in an interview.

At the current time, no date for their walk down the aisle has been set - though it will no doubt be quite the spectacle when it does occur.

Having last teamed up back in 2005, it's also being reported that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may join forces on the big screen, once more.

According to Deadline, the Hollywood power couple both are attached to star in director Ridley Scott's next film titled "The Counselor".

The movie is about "a lawyer who finds himself in over his head when he gets involved in drug trafficking."

With filming slated to get underway in late June, Michael Fassbender, Javier Bardem and Jeremy Renner are all currently attached to the blockbuster project.
