Angelyne, the pink-clad pin-up girl on the infamous Sunset Boulevard billboard, is suing FOX Searchlight for using her image in the 2009 film Notorious. In the lawsuit, calling for damages and an injunction on the use of her image in the movie, Angelyne referred to herself as a "a world renowned celebrity" famous "for her eye-catching and highly visible billboards and photographs..."

Angelyne says after the January 2009 release of "Notorious" -- a movie about Notorious B.I.G. -- several of her fans saw the flick and told her the famous billboard was shown in the movie for at least 12 seconds.

Angelyne, who can often be seen cruising the streets of Hollywood in her pink corvette, was featured in 1997 film Volcano, in which her billboard crashed into street during a volcano eruption.

Angelyne ran for the California gubernatorial position in the 2003 California recall election finishing 28th out of 135 candidates; her campaign slogan was "We’ve had Gray, we’ve had Brown, now it’s time for some blond and pink."
