Charlie Sheen to Star in Anger Management TV Adaptation

Two and a Half Men may be done with Charlie Sheen, but the Master Warlock is not done with television. Sheen is wrapping up talks to star in an adaptation of Anger Management.

Charlie Sheen would be taking the role of the anger-management therapist, originally played by Jack Nicholson. Charlie Sheen's character will be a bit different, though: an former professional athlete Sheen had previously hinted to TMZ that he would be working with producer Joe Roth on an adaptation of one of his films.

The deal between Charlie Sheen and Lions Gate, which is producing Anger Management, is not yet inked. The next step would be a deal with a network.

Meanwhile, Chuck Lorre and the Two and a Half Men writing team are plotting Charlie Harper's demise.
