Arthur Kelly filed for divorce from his wife of 17 years, Ann Kelly, and claimed she had a years-long relationship with rock star Bruce Springsteen.

Arthur Kelly, a mortgage broker, filed for divorce from Ann Kelly on March 27, 2009. As part of the divorce settlement, both Arthur and Ann Kelly agreed not to talk to the media, and he took the Bruce Springsteen affair claim out of the petition.

According to the court filing, Ann Kelly, 45, met Bruce Springsteen in a gym in Red Bank, NJ, in 2005. They began talking and had gone on lunch dates with Springsteen, sometimes with her two daughters.

Ann Kelly allegedly told Arthur's mother that "it made her feel good that Bruce Springsteen was very interested in her."

In 2006, Ann Kelly's father became concerned about her contact with Bruce Springsteen and advised her to quit the gym and stop contacting him, according to the paper.

Arthur Kelly said in the court paper that Bruce Springsteen told Anny Kelly that he thought about her when he was on tour. Springsteen personally gave her front-row tickets to concert rehearsals for his "Magic Tour" shows.

What triggered the divorce was when Arthur Kelly learned from a witness who allegedly saw Ann Kelly kissing Bruce Springsteen in the gym parking lot.

The divorce settlement is expected this week. A spokesperson for Bruce Springsteen did not comment on the alleged affair.

A spokeswoman for Springsteen declined to comment. However, a friend of The Boss said, "Bruce and Patti continue to have a terrific marriage and are very devoted to each other and their children."
