Anne Hathaway was shooting a scene on the Upper West Side of Manhattan near the 72nd Street subway station. In between shoots, the makeup artists touched up Anne's makeup and Anne practiced her lines over and over. She was very intent and focused, appearing to be oblivious to the many onlookers and the numerous extras milling about. They shot the scene three or four times before production was postponed due to rain.
