Anti-Pete Townshend postcards are being distributed to residents of Miami ahead of the Super Bowl game on February 7th due to Pete Townshend's sex offender status. The South Florida group, Protect Our Children, is sending out a postcard with Pete Townshend's photo and stats on it along with a sex offender advisory.

The Who is performing during the Super Bowl halftime show and Protect Our Children has spent months trying to prevent him from performing.

"Townshend is a British citizen who was registered as a sex offender in his home country in 2003, for an offense related to child pornography," the post card reads. "This is a community notification distributed in the interest of public safety."

He was however, never arrested or charged, but was cautioned by police in 2003 after going to a website that advertises child porn.

Protect Our Children had asked the U.S Immigration officials to not allow Townshend to enter the country and Child Abusewatch had asked the NFL to not allow Townshend and The Who to perform.

The NFL says they have no reason to not let the show go ahead as planned.

This is incredibly stupid. Unbelievable. No money from me for these organizations ,EVER, if this is how these watchdog groups work; attacking innocent people and ignoring actual criminals. What a fucked up world and you are helping.
