Apple Nears 10 Billion Song Downloads: Most Downloaded Songs List

Apple's website currently features a widget counting their song downloads as the number quickly approaches the 10 billion mark. The current total song downloads on the widget reads 9.875,8423,000 and counting.

In celebration of reaching the 10 billion milestone for song downloads, Apple will be giving away an iTunes gift card worth $10,000. Apple is encouraging their iTunes customers to keep downloading, and whoever downloads the 10 billionth song will win the iTunes gift card.

Apple has also released a list of the most downloaded songs on iTunes since they opened seven years ago back in 2003. Below are the all-time most downloaded songs on iTunes:
