Aristocratic Restaurant (A Flash From The Past)

Many years ago, the Aristocratic Restaurant resided on this corner (Broadway & Granville) in Vancouver. I noticed today, that Chapter's Book store mounted the original sign in their window. I wondered where they found this old sign - really funky. As a little girl, I used to take the bus in this area with my mother and we would wait to catch the bus near the Aristocrat - (that is the shorter version). I remember the old restaurant well! Always loved neon signs - especially in the 1960's - much of downtown Vancouver was ablaze with colourful signs. So, this one brought a smile to my face. And I noticed another person taking a photo of it in the sign - that is not me!
