Art of Living Camp concludes in Mussoorie

Mussoorie, 28 July: The four day Art of Living meditation course organised by the Kanpur and Mussoorie chapters concluded successfully at an Auditorium in Kulri Bazaar, here, today. More than 250 people participated actively in these four days and gained valuable lessons in meditation.
Today’s session with a yoga session followed by “Rudra Pooja” coordinated by Sri Madhu Sudan from Bangaluru. After this, in the second session, Gyan Charcha was held during which all participants shared their experiences. Various types of breathing exercise were taught by trainers of AOL.The highlight of the day were methods of cleansing the body, coordinated by Rishinit Pragya.
Dr Ramanuj Tripathi, volunteer from Kanpur, said the experience at the advanced camp was indescribable and participants enjoyed every minute of the meditation course. He also said that participants after this course would go back to their homes with a healthy mind and body.
Pranjul, a member from Mussoorie, who had taken a vow of silence for four days, said after the end of the course that it was a totally different experience, spiritually, to remain without speaking a word. He felt sharper after the activities at the course. Another member from Mussoorie, Vijay Kumar Verma was extremely happy after the meditation course and said that it was a soul satisfying experience. Along with other members, he demanded that another course be conducted in the near future headed by Sri Sri Ravishankar, the socio-spiritual head of AOL, himself.
AOL member from Mussoorie Swami Sharma thanked the people of Mussoorie. The AOL teachers from Kanpur were Pomi Sharma, Saroj Nagrath, Promila Vaid, Shobha Kulshresta, Anjali Sinha, while the participants included Deepak Tandon, Mala Tandon, Satish Tiwari, Dr Kiran, Dr Sunil Tripathi, Dr Sunil Bhatiya, Anjali Sinha, Kavita Tiwari, Dr Lokesh, Deepak Kapoor, Kishan Aggarwal, Bindu Verma, Dinesh Omar, Rimjhim Narayan, Firoz and JP Bhaiya. The participants from Mussoorie were Aruna Bindu Singh,Vijay Kumar Verma, Neelima Mehra, Neelam Vachani, Nina Hari, Alok Mehrotra and others.
