Ashley Markham, Byrd and Melanie's Billings' Daughter on Oprah

Ashley Markham, Byrd and Melanie Billings' daughter who were killed in their Florida home on July 16th, will speak to Oprah on her show Wednesday October 7th at 4pm PST.

The couple had 16 children, nine of them with special needs and now Ashley is going to be taking care of them.

"She wasn't a mother before this, and now she's a mother of nine," family attorney Robert Beasley said.

Ashley will be on the show with her husband blue and her attorney and Oprah's show will focus on how someone's life can be changed in an instant.

"They came right out and said this isn't about murders. We aren't going to try and solve murders, not about who did what, the reasons. This is about mission of your parents what they were doing. It's about you're mission of stepping up, about that story," Beasley said.

No media has even been able to get close to this story before, but Oprah's crew got to see inside the Billings' home where the murders took place. They also filmed the daily life of the children but couldn't harm them in any way with their filming.

This story was one of the most heartbreaking of last summer.
