Yeah yeah yeah...Ashton Kutcher beat CNN to a million Twitter followers.

And okay, fine, he had to make good on his "ding-dong-ditch" Ted Turner promise.

Only Teddy don't exactly have no accessible home or doorbell, so @aplusk (aka the Oprah-declared 'King of Twitter') had to make due with a juvenile, Punk'd-era celebrity prank.

After assembling his loyal 'fan tweeps' in an Atlanta parking lot, Ashy and wife Demi ('Alphacougar' aka @apluscoug) Moore proceeded to march on up to the CNN offices and unveil a giant @aplusk banner over CNN's logo sign.

Zing!

But those crazy kids didn't stop there. No sirree Bob.

Earlier in the day, after Kutcher grabbed a Coke at the local Montana Grill — owned by Ted Turner — he and his Twittering cohort "stacked hundreds of boxes of Ding Dongs in front of the restaurant. Ashton and his Twitter pals then repeatedly rang a bell."

Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk...

Get it? "Ding-dong-ditch"... and boxes of Ding Dongs?

Then ringing a bell?

“Ted doesn’t really have an accessible home, and Ted doesn’t really have an accessible doorbell,” he told the crowd.

And guess what, Ashton?

No one cares.

I have been using Twitter since about last Sept, started because I wanted to follow an Apple thing on Macworld, and I like Twitter but I agree who cares about Ashton Butcher? These people will only kill it!

Only 100 people turned up? I thought it would have made a bigger impact than that.

It's like Demi Moore is back in the Brat Pack, seriously, she is like a giddy school girl swooning over Corey Haim, hell, I would go so low as to compare Ashton to Corey Feldman. This is really sad. I beg these twitterati to grow up.
