Australia born Vimala Raman acting with Jagapati in Telugu film

Hyderabad, January 28: - Former Miss India Australia Vimala Raman is acting with Jagapati Babu in the Telugu film ‘Chattam’ (Law).

Speaking to the media about the film, Hero Jagapati Babu has said that some feel that Law is there only to be violated. Others think that it could be bought. “However all the criminals get caught sooner or later. We are showing in the film that the arm of the law is long and would reach the criminal wherever he is, sooner or later.”

Producers Natti Kumar and Satyanarayana said: “one need not necessarily be a police officer to guard the law. Even an ordinary citizen can assume the duty of a law protector. Jagapati Babu is one such citizen who cares for the law and guards it,” they added. Director Arun Prasad said climax scenes of the film would soon be shot at the Ramoji Film City, one of the world’s largest and best equipped studios in Hyderabad city. MM Sri Lekha is the music director of the film.

Vimala Raman is a great exponent of Indian classical dance and has acted in Tamil and Malayalam.
